Home For LifeŽ has also acquired 40 acres in Star Prairie, Wisconsin, and
projected completion in April 1999 of construction of buildings that will house
approximately 200 animals.
The Callaway Hills Animal Shelter, Jefferson City, MO, is a privately owned and operated no-kill shelter located about 10 miles north of Jefferson City. We usually house well over 100 animals at any time, and we have several wonderful older dogs who have lived at the shelter all or most of their lives. These dogs are well treated at the shelter, but they have no idea how good life can be in a home of their own, with their own person to love. How wonderful it would be if they could find out, and how rewarding it would be to show them what a loving home is really like!
