the best possible foster and permanent homes for them.
The Reno Gazette
Although this really isn't an "agency," the Pet Ad pages in this newspaper are a
wonderful source for finding and placing pets. If you're looking for a dog, get
a copy of the paper at your local newsstand. If you'd like to place an ad for a
dog who needs a home, talk to "Elaine" in the Lifestyle/Petfinder Dept. She will
help write/format an ad (and will advise you to include a photo in it).
Telephone: 775- 788-6361; fax 775-788-6436; voice mail for ads: 775- 324-0225,
x1361.
Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation, Incline Village, NV
The Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation state that they have " . . . a special place
in our hearts for senior and disabled pets. (Although we prefer to call them
special!) At any given time, most of the animals available for adoption have
been deemed "unadoptable" and were scheduled for euthanasia. With help from
people like you, we have been able to place each and every animal that we have
rescued into a loving home. Some of the animals on the Dog and Cat pages are
considered senior, but to us they are just beginning. Please visit our Adoptable
Animals pages to see the pets that we have available right now. And again, if
you don't see what you are looking for, please contact us -- given a little
time, we can find whatever it is that you are looking for." Telephone: (775)
