Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary, Springfield, TN
FFAS is a 501(c )(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abused,
abandoned and neglected animals in and around the Robertson County TN area.
Foster homes are used to house all the animals in their care. Their main goal is
to build a sanctuary on a piece of land (preferably donated), to house more

Germantown Animal Shelter is located at 7700 Southern Ave., Germantown, TN. Telephone: 901-757-7358. Hours: 10 - 2:30 Monday through Friday, and 10 - 2 on Saturday. Although they do euthanize, this shelter will keep the animals as long as they don't get full and the animal is not seriously ill or aggressive.
Happy Tales Humane, Franklin, TN is a closed-admission humane shelter for dogs and cats. Their goal is to place as many pets as possible, using screening, both written and verbal. Hamilton, TX -- Huts for Mutts Dog Rescue -- The purpose and objective of "Huts For Mutts" is to find homes for loving animals and spread awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering your pets. The group, from small beginnings, has achieved enormous success in the Hamilton area.

Animal Shelter alive, not to mention most older dogs. If you are in a
position to adopt a dog, please don't hesitate. The shelter is located at 3456
Tchulahoma Rd., Memphis, TN. Telephone: 901-362-5310. Normal hours are
Tues - Fri, 10 to 5; Mon and Sat, 10 to 3. Adoptions till 4:45 and 2:45
respectively. Adoption fee for dogs is $50 -- includes heartworm test,
spay/neuter, and rabies, parvo, and distemper vaccinations. Fee for cats is $45
-- includes spay/neuter and vaccinations.
Noah's Arc, Talbott and Morristown, TN
Noah's Arc, Inc., is an organization
founded in 1991 by a couple of Jefferson County, Tennessee, attorneys as an
alternative to the animal shelter. Their purpose is to rescue animals that have
been abandoned or abused, provide medical care, find good homes for them, and,
in general, to prevent animal overpopulation. Members are citizens who volunteer
their help and/or donate money for this purpose.
